VOLUNTEER WITH THE WORKSHOP
Each person has unique talents and we need those at The Workshop! Each volunteer position takes approximately 2 hours per month and we are asking a maximum 6-month commitment. Please choose from the following options how you would like to spend your time volunteering with us and fill out the "Volunteer Contact Form" below!

Volunteer Coordinator
Help The Workshop clearly identify and define beneficial voluntarily based tasks. This includes task responsibility; training other volunteers to include questions and concerns; and oversee a Volunteer Hours Log (beneficial for applying for grants and sponsorships).Keep a roster of all current volunteers and touch base with them, ensuring they are able to fulfill their duties and get their information to The Workshop.
Insurance Guru
Share knowledge of paperwork and process for becoming an in-network provider with applicable insurance companies and to help clients self-claim when appropriate.
Webmaster
Keep the website updated for current events, news, groups, volunteer and item needs, etc. Will be reviewed by the Executive Director before being published.
Event Organizer
Plan an event, assign volunteers to tasks, other duties as required. Some options include: the car show, the golf tournament, and other fundraisers you come up with!
Event Host
Host an event to benefit The Workshop. Lots of opportunities and ways to be creative!
Social Media
Update and keep current The Workshop's presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Information needs to be reviewed by the Executive Director before publication.
Photographer/Videographer
Be able to take pictures of events, people involved, places for posting on the website and social media. Be able to record video for the same.
Class Lead
Teach a class at The Workshop locations for approximately one hour each month. Options include basic auto care, arts and crafts, cooking, wood shop, and any other types of creative classes you can come up with!
Game Night Coordinator
Organize a monthly game night at The Workshop including hours, schedule, and snacks, if any. Great way to get creative and teach a new game or bring out some older ones we haven't played in a while! Fun and socializing are the goals!

Search for available grants and complete applications applicable to The Workshop
